About Us

Stony Brook was founded in 1984 and in 2004 acquired by Pam and Ed Hill. Pam has a true passion for customer service and being the best at anything she is involved in. Ed is a numbers guy who is frugal and knows how to find areas that can be optimized throughout the business to make more money for Stony Brook and its homeowners. Together, they lead a team of professionals, more commonly known as the “Stony Brook family.” Since Pam and Ed have taken over the business, revenue growth has tripled. Pam and Ed take a family approach with Stony Brook and instill those values into the overall culture and day-to-day operations.

Ed & Pam Hill, Owners and Operators

Since April 2004, Pam and Ed have been active in the day-to-day operations at Stony Brook. Under their guidance, the business has grown over 310%! They are proud to offer one of the most diverse inventories of vacation rental properties in the area. Pam and Ed started as two dreamers with zero experience, and now they have grown Stony Brook to a full staff with 4 departments and over 75 years cumulative experience!
