Stony Brook Cabins is a full service property management company that provides overnight vacation rental accommodations in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. At Stony Brook, our number one goal is to exceed your expectations, period. Where do I start? I met Pam Hill and her son, Tim, three years ago, when we were looking for a management company for our cabin The Blackbear. We ended up going with a different company, not that there was anything negative we had about Stony Brook, we just decided to go with another leasing company at the time.
So fast forward a couple years later and we found that the company we went with was not all that we had thought they should be or was what we were expecting them to be. So I called Pam and asked if they would take over the leasing on our cabins.We had added The Buckhorn by then. BEST DECISION I could have made.
Right from the start, we started getting more for our rental stays then we were getting from the other company, and more days booked per month. Pam and her entire crew at Stony Brook do an amazing job, the level of professionalism and spot on, at keeping the renters happy that stay at the cabin. They are second to none. We have two cabins with them and are building our third one this year, and one more next year. We are so excited to have joined up with Stony Brook and are looking forward to the coming years of working with them.
There are a lot of leasing companies out there, and many promise different rates and returns etc.But If you do your research, you will find that with the years of established service Stony Brook has been in business, and in the Gatlinburg area, you will see why there is only one clear choice in choosing a great leasing company and that is Stony Brook. The only regret I have about choosing Pam and her team at Stony Brook, is that I did not start with them at first.
Renting your cabin is a partnership between you and the leasing company, your success will be determined by that partnership. (So choose it well) Pam and her staff have always went out of there way to take care of any unforeseen things that can come up and repairs that may need to be addressed asap. They are always there and willing to do whatever they can to insure your cabin and the guest staying there have everything they need. I just cannot imagine going with any other company to take as good of care of our rental cabins as Stony Brook.

Meet the Founders
Since April 2004, Ed and Pam Hill have played an active role at Stony Brook Cabins. Under their guidance, the business became a success with constant growth year over year. They are proud to offer one of the most diverse inventories of vacation rental properties in the area.
As the business continues to grow, Ed and Pam have passed on their “customer service first” approach to the ever-growing team and highly professional staff at Stony Brook Cabins. Pam plans to stay active in the day to day operations while transitioning slowly toward a consultant role. You may still see them around if you stop by the Stony Brook office, but they’ve entrusted their team to continue carrying on their family approach to business – keeping the guest experience the top priority.
